Atherton Tablelands Rail Trail
Easy grade ride along the old Atherton to Mareeba railway line between Hastie’s Swamp Bird Hide in Atherton through to Mareeba. Some parts of the Walkamin to Mareeba line are still under construction. This is a shared use trail and well signposted.

Tolga-Kairi Cycle Route
Ride quiet back roads, mostly unsealed with low traffic and farmland. This ride can be longer or a shorter ride according to fitness level.

Black Mountain Road and Bump Track
Rolling hills through dirt roads in rainforest with famous decent to the coast and onto Port Douglas. This is an excellent ride for those who want a challenge and a good workout. The Bump Track is one way only.

Emerald Creek Ride
Leaving Mareeba this ride follows bitumen roads through rural residential areas and farmland and then forested dirt roads to Emerald Creek Falls. There are no refreshment stops en route. Watch for traffic on roads close to Mareeba. The road to Emerald Creek Falls has relatively low traffic levels.

Tinaroo Creek Road Hill Climb
An endurance ride that takes you from Mareeba to Kauri Creek, Tinaroo Dam. A challenging, long hilly ride on dirt roads. Riders must be fully self-sufficient with food, water, first aid and tools. This is a truly spectacular ride for those who want a challenge and a good workout.

Pinnacle Pocket Cycle Trail
View Platypus, marvel at the Curtain Fig Tree in Yungaburra cycling along quiet country roads. Wander over a volcanic landscape and around the 7 Sisters Volcanic Cones. Enjoy Spectacular Views over Lake Tinaroo. Cross Petersen Creek and enjoy the Rainforest. Search for Tree Kangaroos. This trail is part of the Seven Sisters Trail.

Malanda – Gallo Cycle Loop
Enjoy approximately 33 kms of scenic views and rolling pastures – the best of the best! Top up with coffee, cheese and chocolate at Gallo Dairyland. Visit the historic Malanda Hotel, Malanda Picture Theatre and the Peeramon Pub. View Sarus Cranes at Bromfield Swamp. Finish the ride with a swim and picnic at the Unique Malanda Falls. This trail is part of the Seven Sisters Trail.

Purcell’s Crossing Adventure Trail
Enjoy approximately 15 kms to link to both the Pinnacle Pocket Cycle Trail and the Malanda- Gallo Trail. View birds and wildlife from the 2 Storey Hide at Hastie’s Swamp. Watch the Platypus swim at the pool above Purcell’s Crossing or on a hot day join them. Follow the original Malanda Road up through the rainforest and finish at Gallo’s for a coffee, chocolate and cheese. This trail is part of the Seven Sisters Trail.
